About The Project

The John Purdue Block Redevelopment Project, developed by Barrett & Stokely and Third Street Ventures in partnership with the City of Lafayette, is a $61.135M investment that includes the preservation and restoration of the historic John Purdue Block Building and a new six-story in-fill building located at 22 N 2nd Street in Lafayette, IN. The project will have 157 luxury apartment units, 6,450 sq ft of commercial space, and a 3rd level amenity deck with pool on top of a 2-story parking garage. The project will fill a pressing need for more housing in the Greater Lafayette Region as the area continues to grow with new and existing business investment such as SK Hynix, Subaru, Purdue University, Wabash National, and GE Aviation. The project is an important infill development on a brownfield site that will support the revitalization of Lafayette’s downtown, preserve the historic and architecturally significant, John Purdue Block Building, built by founder and namesake of Purdue University, John Purdue.
