Oxford/Pine Village Water Regionalization

About The Project

The neighboring communities of Oxford and Pine Village are partnering on a $20.9 million regional drinking water system designed to catalyze economic growth and ensure equitable resource access across Benton and Warren Counties. This initiative—begins with a $10 million foundational utility project in Oxford scheduled for completion by September 2026. This groundwork paves the way for a $10.9 million extension into Pine Village that will replace aging, potentially contaminated private wells with a 150,000-gallon storage tank and 15,000 linear feet of new water lines by June 2027. By combining significant public and private capital, this critical infrastructure upgrade will improve water quality and fire protection while serving as a cornerstone for attracting talent and fostering long-term regional prosperity.
