The City of Delphi successfully completed the construction of essential road, utility, and related sitework infrastructure, providing the foundation for a new single-family housing development by Milakis Homes. Construction commenced in July 2024 and reached completion in Fall 2025.
A regional housing study and needs analysis that encompasses both regional and individual county information. Includes an action plan for each county to implement.
Joink & County partnership begins fiber broadband buildout in July 2023, targeting 2K homes. $1.5M READI funds aid initial phase. Project completion by June 2025.
The Wabash River Greenway Project enhances outdoor amenities with new trailhead, canoe/kayak launch, and connections to existing trails. Project completion by December 2026
The Wabash River Greenway Project will complete the Covington Circle Trail System, enhancing local amenities and connectivity. Total cost: $1.45M, with $475k from READI.
Monticello Riverwalk project seeks READI funds for a 1-mile-long shared-use trail to increase physical activity and support local businesses. Project completion by summer 2025.
